Projects funded by the European Union, such as Optimum, are obligated to collect specific data from their participants. The binding obligation based on the EU Regulation 1304/2013 and the Common Provisions Regulation 1303/2013 gives the Member States the right to collect and process personal data necessary for the monitoring, evaluation, financial management, verification and audit of the execution of the programme. The data registered on the participants are not used or disclosed for any other purpose.

Project executors collect the data and register the data to the Eura2021 system. These data are essential for both allocating EU funding and studying its impacts. The collected data types include the participant’s identification and contact details, employment status, education, and other background factors. The information collected when registering to our upcoming events is used for participant listings and for sending you details about the events themselves. When registering to an event, in addition to your contact information we ask you to fill in your employment status and education (degree). This information is used only for generic monitoring and reporting on what of our services are most needed and which kind of professionals are most interested in them.

When you sucscribe to our mailing list, we ask for your name and e-mail address. This data is used only to e-mail you information about Optimum’s services. You can easily unsubscribe from the list by using the link added to every mailing list message.
